According to the Dispatch, and Shawn Mitchell, Hilliard is getting the Crew Training ground.
This is undoubtedly good news for the school district and the city. But I still sit and stratch my head trying to figure out how the infrastructure will support the facility. Can you imaging the travelling hordes of teams heading the Hilliard for a large soccer tourney dealing with the Roundabout of Doom planned for the triangle at Scioto-Darby, Main and Cemetary Roads? I dread dealing with roundabouts and I'd hate to put unsuspecting teams from Pennsyltucky through that.
Either way, as a current HCSD resident, overall I think this is a good thing.
